Rain starts in the sea, the rivers and the lakes. The sun is hot and it warms the water. The water goes up into the air. We cannot see it. High in the sky, it is cold. The water becomes small drops and they make clouds. When the clouds are full, the drops get big and heavy. Then they fall down. This is rain. The rain goes into the rivers and the sea again. Then the same thing starts again.
