Model answer: I live in Konya, which is quite big but not as busy as Istanbul. There are lots of parks and old buildings, and the people are friendly. The only problem is that it gets very cold in winter.
What do you like most about your neighbourhood?

Model answer: What I like most is that everybody knows each other. There's a small bakery at the corner, and the owner always gives me a free piece of bread when I pass. Children play in the street until it gets dark.
Would you prefer to live in the countryside? Why or why not?
Recorded on your device only — play it back and compare with the model answer.

Model answer: I think I'd prefer the countryside, because it's quiet and the air is cleaner. On the other hand, I'd miss cinemas and shopping centres, and it might be difficult to find a good internet connection. Maybe I'll try it for a summer first.
How has your town changed in the last few years?
Recorded on your device only — play it back and compare with the model answer.

Model answer: A new metro line has been built, so travelling is much quicker now. Several old shops have closed, though, and they've been replaced by large cafés. I understand that cities must change, but I sometimes miss the old streets.
If a visitor came to your town for one day, what would you recommend?
Recorded on your device only — play it back and compare with the model answer.

Model answer: I'd take them to the old market first for breakfast, and then to the main park, where they can rent bikes. In the evening, we could eat grilled meatballs at my favourite restaurant. I think they would fall in love with the place.
