You were at home yesterday because you had a cold. Write an email to your teacher, Mr Kaya. Say why you were absent, ask about the homework and say when you will give it to him.

Model answer: Dear Mr Kaya, I am writing because I was not at school yesterday. I had a bad cold, so my mother kept me at home. I feel better today and I will come to school tomorrow. Could you tell me what homework we have for English? I also want to know about the next test. I will do the homework tonight and give it to you on Thursday morning. Thank you for your help.
