Write a message to your pen friend Tom about a new hobby you started recently. Say what it is, why you chose it, what has been difficult so far, and what you hope to do next.

Model answer: Hi Tom, How are you? I haven't written for a while, so I wanted to tell you about my new hobby. Six weeks ago I started learning the guitar. I chose it because my uncle plays beautifully, and I have always loved folk music. So far I have learned five chords and one simple song. The hardest part is changing chords quickly, because my fingers still hurt a little. However, my teacher says that I am making good progress. If I practise every day, I will be able to play with my uncle at the family party in spring. That is my big goal! Do you have a hobby that you enjoy at the moment? Write back soon. Best wishes, Kaan
